PIP: Day 3
A moving day, as my favorite pastime Test Cricket would call it.
The document has now taken shape, and now just requires some elaboration and reframing of langauge, and a few helpful diagrams for a good first draft to send in on Monday. The architecture, in my mind atleast, has taken concrete shape (subject to whatever concerns may come up). It should be alright tho. It ain't even that deep; i'm basically replacing multiple deployments of the same thing being done slightly differently to a single one deciding what to do at runtime.
Had a talk with a senior today, who assured me that people have made it out of PIP before all right, so a bit of assurance on that front. Nevertheless, the advice was to start looking elsewhere for a good Plan B.
Also an all-important question needs mulling over; do I currently like it here? i could be doing better work doubtless, but the job market currently might not be very rosy. Regardless, with a BITS tag, and a year-long experience from a startup, I can cautiously place a miniscule proverbial chip on my shoulder. Speaking of which, the good ol' Linkedino has been updated with corporate-appropriate language, and an automatically generated resume been received from the same....yeah it looks horrible, imma need to make a new one, but it's a godd reference!
Looking to switch internally is also an option, although that might have to wait/be done slowly to figure out which teams would be a good fit; the PIP of course does not help matters, but one can only try.
I need to dry my laundry now.
