PIP: Day 1
I document my way through a PIP, which I am assured by the internet to be a formality before termination. Still haven't processed this properly I think (emotionally). Have been advised by reliable sources to see a therapist.
Actions I have taken:
- Researched on Reddit what PIP means
- updated my Linkedin with a single line as to what I've been upto after March; probably not a good sign
- Gotten started on my PIP task; scoured the D codebase and made some rough notes and what is and what possibly could be (while juggling other issues)
TODO:
- Clarify with HR about stuff, like notice period, effect on resume, etc.
- Talk with peers and seniors as to what this could mean
- Research current roles in the market for my experience
